For FS5.1,  copy the .air file to your PILOTS directory, and all .*af

files to your TEXTURE Directory under the parent FlightSim 5.1 directory

This CV-640 is depicted as PH-PWY of Holland's Martin Air Charter. The aircraft was initially 

delivered to Swissair as a CV - 440. It was bought by Martin Air in 1967 and converted

into an 640 by Aviolanda in Holland. 

Martin Air operated 2 of the type well into the 1970s. One of the aircraft CF-PWT was 

actually the European prototype dart conversion.



31 cv640s were built, utilising the 3,025shp darts developed for the NAMC 

YS-11. The dart installation was straight forward, requiring few modifications

aft of the original engine firewalls. Even much of the original cowling structure

was able to be fitted around the new turbines. the 1st cv640 order came from 

Hawaiian Airways in late 1965



Includes Dart engine sounds.



The FS5 version still uses the original CV580 dynamics the actual 640 had lower 

power ratings and cruising speed was something like 300mph, 50mph slower than the 580.
