PANMAKE Version 2.4

Version for Pentium-2 and Pentium-Pro. (panmp202.zip)

This version 2.4 is a revision of version 2.2.2
Version 2.4 have 6 improvements from version 2.2.2 :

1) More accurate position of gauges and panel picture 
(now you can work in corners!)

2) Panel SIZE RATIOS are better managed

3) A "ZOOM" and "HAND" option.

4) A gauge "BLINKER", to restitute transparency effects.

5) More convivial menus (drop-down lists, enlarged fonts,...)

6) Some minor miscellaneous improvements and bug fixing.


---------WARNING :

PanMake v2.4 creates :

- a new PANMAKE.INI file in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM
directory.

- BMP and PALETTE subdirectories in \GAUGES\ directory

!!!!DO NOT MOVE, REMOVE OR CHANGE THEM (it will mess up everything)!!!

BUT You can STILL :

- erase ANY file you want from the BMP and PALETTE subdirectories 

- erase ANY former files of a previous version of PanMake.

-----------DESCRIPTION :


This small utility enables you to create/modify panels with a WYSIWYG
method. Gauges and pictures are drawn on your screen, 
click on them to modify position and size (earlier, this work was painstaking
boring and time-consuming)

If you are not familiar with the parameters shown on the panel template screen, 
please report to Microsoft Panel Software Development Kit available on their site.

Email me if problem, but my intention is NOT to provide a professional design tool, 
but to share a simple tool (which I made first only for me) with others.


-----------INSTALLATION :


1) CREATE A /PANMAKE/ directory wherever you want

2) EXTRACT ALL FILES IN THIS DIRECTORY... That's all !!

3) IF IT FAILS TO WORK, YOU MAY HAVE TO GET SOME SYSTEM FILES.
(download them from my site please)

4) BE SURE TO CORRECTLY CONFIGURE YOUR DIRECTORIES IN PANMAKE2
(SPECIFY PATHES OF YOUR FS98/GAUGE/ AND .../PANEL/ DIRECTORIES)


------------COMING FEATURES (in PANMAKE V.3.O ?) :

1) True window positioning
2) Gauge bitmaps draggable/resizable with mouse
3) Choice between several bitmaps for one gauge
4) And a integrated text-editor to manipulate panel.cfg freely in
panmake.
5) All other suggestions...
